Why are my videos playing back rotated

I took some videos on my D2GBL and when I play them back of the phone they re rotated 90 degree. Any idea why?

Are you taking the videos with the device horizontal?

No that's the weird thing I had it vertical but they playback sideways (at least on the phone they do)

Quit taking videos and photos with the device in the vertical position.
It's meant to be used like a Camera.
