Doesnt the Screen have a 4year warranty like the Turbo 2? If so the only accidental needed would be for water damage.

Yes, ShatterShield carries a 4-year guarantee against cracks, dings, or gouges into the glass. The way I see it this thing will be my device for the next 2-3 years. Battery will last, as with the battery add-on, fewer charge cycles needed over time. I spent $990 on the phone, 2 mods + sales tax. $19 about in rewards dollars I stand to earn on my Visa card.

Does Verizon allow you to put these phones on the plan as an insurable phone they'll cover, or is that something only Moto will handle seeing it was bought through them.

I had my wife's Moto X pure on the Ausrion plan. She dropped it in the lake. They didn't have any to replace it with so I had to get a different model. I argued them to give me a Turbo 2 because they were wanting to give me the 2014 Moto X. Verizon however actually sells the Moto z Force themselves so Asurion should have them or you get a new replacement.

I got mine when I switched to Verizon. They paid off my AT&T Note 4, so it was a good deal for me. Moto phones have the best antennas, and I've never dropped a call.☺

My device is likely delayed... talking to live chat stating upper management will respond within 24-48 hours. SMH

Nice! Please upload some pics of the white one want to get it for my wife. My local best buy told me that they weren't going to carry it don't know how true that is though.

Finally had the chance last night to activate the phone. Pictures were taken using my now retired Droid Turbo. Insurance plan with VZW is $11.00/month, considered "fully comprehensive" which is overnight replacement in the event it's covered there under insurable conditions...now how much that'll be worth it is anyone's guess. Problem is they want you to start that up within 30 days of delivery of new devices.

Thoughts?

Phone looks nice! Thanks for posting. I have never bought any insurance for any of my phones. Mostly because if I were to break it I'd look into fixing it myself. I would still be running my limited edition Droid ultra if I were able to find the screen with the red buttons.
