Who needs a scholarship..

I know how much it cost me to go to school and am reminded every pay day when I am mailing out a check to my student loan company. So for me to see a young man throw away a scholarship is disheartening, especially when it is over something stupid like stealing $6.00 worth of candy which ended in a brawl with the cops. But that is what College prospect Trayvon Reed did as his actions cost him a chance at a scholarship from Maryland. Maryland's Coach Turgeon told the press that they will be cutting ties with the 7 foot 1 center out of Shiloh High School. Personally I hope this young man grow up and understand the opportunity he missed out on. If he learns from this and become a better person then I hope he rebounds and this turn in to a redemption story.
