Who is paying full retail?

If its actually the end of your two year contract, you'll probably be able to get the phone for $99. My understanding from other people on here is that the annual upgrade cost is $199 after the rebate but if you have the full New Every Two discount, it actually drops the phone to $99 after the rebate.

I thought $199 was the lowest also, but I know I've seen at least four people or so on here or incredibleforum that are swearing up and down they were able to get it for $99 with their NE2. That would shock me for them to be able to get it that cheap, also. Still wonder if they're reading something wrong on their orders.

Oh I believe you, trust me. I was very surprised at the possibility of $99 on a brand new phone, especially a flagship model.

I will be getting it for $199. The only way to get it for $99 is if you have a NE2 available.

thats not corrdct the ne2 price is 199.99 i work for verizon. you have to call customer service and hope you get the one person that is dumb enough to give it to you for 99. i have seen a few people in the store with 99 dollar offers from verison on both the droid and the incredible.

Ummm no its not. The NE2 price is $99 because with NE2 they give you the phone at the 2 year price plus a $100 discount. If you are on a family plan you can only get NE2 with the Primary line otherwise you just get the 2 year price. I was told this by over 5 reps and 2 techs and have seen it done as well. Maybe they do things different where you are but here in California that's how it works.

You can get it for $99.00 like so.

529.99-Retail
299.99-w/ 2 year contract
-100.00 - rebate
-100.00 - New every 2 credit for people with really expensive plans.
= $99.00

The credit depends on your plan, I myself receive $50.00 credit for NE2.

those prices that are qouted online are ne2 prices. the only way to get that phone at 99 is to get n override by someone at verison. also ne2 credits are not worth 100 anymore. they are only worth 50. this means that if you were an add a line on a n account and you wanted a droid or an incredible you sould typically pay 350 minus 100 rebate for a total of 250. but verizon wil give you the ne2 price to keep your business.
