Use the free market app Astro to create a folder called wallpapers on your card and then use Astro to move them there. Use Astro to open them in your camera and then set as your wallpaper, or delete as need be. The default wallpapers go to a location you need root access to (so I've been told elsewhere so correct me if I'm wrong)

Yeah they're just wanting to know how they can put all wallpapers, downloaded and default, in the same main folder the defaults are in.......

I wouldn't know where to look honestly, the devs know because the custom roms will have the default wallpapers switched around, or it'll have extras in it too

I couldn't place my wallpapers where the defaults are in phone memory if I wanted to, I have over 500 wallpapers already :)

The default wallpapers are inside one of the stock apk files, so saving to this location (and probably deleting all of them from here) would not be possible. Some of the ROMs out there remove some of the wallpapers that are in there because they have never worked on the Droid, but none that I've seen remove all of them.

The wallpapers are inside the Launcher.apk file in /system/app/

You definitely need root to modify it.

That's not what they're asking about lol

They're talking about where the stock wallpaper files are stored within the /system folder of your phone....so they can remove them or place new ones in there

So if we want to add our own images in this folder, we just drag the new files in there and name is to "wallpaper_whatever.jpg" ?

I tried but it said there wasnt enough room. Im guessing I put too many images in there lol
