Where are my downloads

When I download a document, such as a pdf or a picture...where does it go and how do I access it? I'm pretty new to smart phones so sorry if this is a dumb question.

You have a files app on your phone, open it up an navigate to the download folder.

If you downloaded a picture, open the gallery and you can find it there. It's easier than navigating the file manager.

Also, I use quickpic instead of the stock gallery. The customization options are awesome.
