When you increase the lcd density

When you increase the lcd screen density via the build.prop command, some apps do not like this. The apps fill up only a portion of the screen and leave the rest of the space black. Is there any fox for this?

I noticed the same thing. I do not know of a fix. I'm watching this thread. here's a bump for you.

most obnoxious for me is handcent gets cut off by the keyboard and root explorer is mostly black space
