When I have SWYPE selected, the keyboard is smaller?

When I select the SWYPE input, my keyboard is smaller. When I don't have SWYPE on, they keyboard buttons are bigger and they typing is far easier. Is there anyway to have SWYPE on and keep the bigger keyboard? I have the Droid Razr Maxx.

Yes the swype keys are smaller than the multi-touch keys because you are not thumbing each key like you are with multi-touch. The swype is intended to be dragging your finger across in a constant motion so I am guessing they made them smaller to help that? Can't say for sure. As far as other swype keyboards, I am not sure if there are any in the market but you might check.
