I was having issues with it taking FOREVER to locate, but once it located accuracy was fine. I use an app (jogtracker) when I run/walk ... This morning I turned on gps and fired up the app 10 minutes BEFORE my walk. Well, 5 minutes into my walk it FINALLY found my location. Very aggravating!
Just saw this over on the thunderbolt forum site ... tried it and thus far it has worked:
Power off device, remove battery then sim card, reinstall and power back on.
After that I turned on GPS fired up same app and was located in seconds! Turned off GPS let it sit for a bit, turned it back on and fired up navigation. Typed in a destination hit go and again location obtained in seconds!!
Hopefully this trend will continue for me and perhaps help others.
