What's up with CITY ID uninstallable??

Twice now this app asked me if I want to pay for the full version, but won't allow me to get rid of it by uninstall. So until a possible root comes, we are going to have to deal with this pop-up now and then? Jeeze, Verizon an its crap-ware :dry:.

Yeah, same issue here. You can force the app to stop being active, but no uninstall ... :-(

I haven't had any popups asking me to purchase it. Had the phone since last night. Weird.

I had a (first call) from a number not in my contacts. I let the call go to voicemail. When I unlocked the phone the popup was there reminding me that the 15 day trial bla bla bla ...!

I've just been "auto killing" mine with task manager from rhythm software.

I wonder how long the trial last and what happens after the trial is up?.. Does it self uninstall or keep bothering you to buy?...
Isn't this "pestware" a cousin to adware?

Or maybe "harassment?"
