What's this status icon?

I don't know how to do screen shots yet. But a new status icon appeared yesterday that's not shown in the user manual. It's an ear with sound waves coming off it. I don't see any apps running. I checked for new voice mail. And I don't see that I have speaker phone on. Any ideas?

Hmmm... sounds like hearing aid compatibility, check in Settings-Call that "Hearing aid" is not checked. I saw in another forum that another user had a similar issue this morning, strange.
