it allows you to use video chat/conf apps without having to turn the phone around and also lets you do the 2-way video chat where you can see to whom you are chatting and vice versa

tango and hopefully later on it'll be skype.

Cool...that's what I was wondering. I downloaded tango, and my wife installed it on her dx. She can call me and I can switch to video, but I can't cal her. When I click on her contact I only get options to invite her, but she already had it.

We were kiddin ya' Yahoo IM works. Another app does too - Tango. None of them work too well.

"Screwed" out of Skype? Come man... it's delayed. There is a camera and software will take advantage of it eventually. At the moment, these are the options but you are equipped for the future...

No, not really. You can use tango to video chat other phone users. You can also use Free Video Chat and Video Conferencing from ooVoo to chat people who are on their computers, works just like skype.
