What's the best way to video chat with FFCs?

Having an OG Droid I never bothered to look into anything about regarding FFCs. Recently I got a Bionic and a friend the Incredible II. Since both our phones have FFCs we'd like to use it.

I know that recent GTalk has the option but I'm a little hazy on it. Is the feature exclusive to 2.3.5 devices, or do you just update the app? Friend doesn't have G+ so that's not a solution.

I've also heard of apps like Tango and I think Skype can do it.

What's the best way to do this. Without a lot of complications since my friend isn't that tech savvy.

You can always talk in front of a mirror thats set up in front of the phone...lol.
