What's the best AVapp? And is the "AV" app im ussing causing other issues?

Hi, I'm new to the forum but had trouble posting on intro page. my biggest problem right now choosing an antivirus program. I installed one just named antivirus but now how do I uninstall it? When I try uninstall likeany other app it's grayed out and say installing. Also I hear about lookout, does gps have to stay on? By the way droid forum app keeps crashing while searching could this be the" Antivirus" app

Welcome! Sorry you are having problems creating an intro thread.

You do not need an AV on your X and it may be causing issues on the phone. I know of two way to uninstall an app. First, tap menu, tap settings, tap applications, tap the app and tap uninstall. Second, open the market tap menu, tap downloads, tap the app and tap uninstall.
