Okay, NOW I'm going to sound like a total dork...

My Droid is giving an occasional jingle. Sounds like Tinkerbell trying to get my attention. On my old phone, this meant I had a voicemail. Well, I just called voicemail and I don't have any, nor is the little green light on the front of the phone on like it was last night when I did have a message. What else could this mean? Do I have a new text message? I don't text message at all, so I wouldn't even know where to go to pick it up!

Oh, my battery is only at 50%, so it shouldn't be a low battery warning.

Thanks.

Open your notifcation bar (either press menu > notifications or 'drag' down the notification bar) see if there's anything there... should tell you if you have an e-mail, message, etc waiting for you.

edit: there is a ringtone/notification called tinkerbell :)

Just hear those sleigh bells jingling,
ring ting tingling too
Come on, it's lovely weather
for a sleigh ride together with you,
Outside the snow is falling
and friends are calling "Yoo hoo,"
Come on, it's lovely weather
for a sleigh ride together with you.

Sorry... I don't have any help for you... but your post made me smile if only because of this song... I love Christmas.

Maybe it's the "Is It Christmas Yet" widget?

As an aside, this widget cracked me up. I recommend installing it, if only for a few minutes to get a good chuckle.

Now I'm going to blush AND sound dorky. It wasn't the Droid at all; it was my old phone, which I haven't finished clearing off yet. It needed a battery charge.

Where's that emoticon for eyes rolling? Oh, there tis: :icon_rolleyes:
