What were the designers thinking?

    That is helpful jwilly. It appears your index finger finds a natural spot higher on the volume rocker side than mine. Maybe I can retrain. :) UNfortunately gonna check out razr this afternoon though I doubt the lack of ram will impress. But hey more batt life (2100 vs 2500) might put me over... will see...

    See if I try to hold my phone exactly like that, my pinky doesn't even touch the phone. It feels less secure and just....awkward in my hands. I like my way:happy3: Will just take a bit more getting used to.

    It's definitely a big phone especially for someone with small hands. I wouldn't necessarily blame it on the design, though.it's a matter of personal preference.if I had small hands I'd probably get the razr M or something

    ive aways like my power on top and vlume rocker on the right side...... kinda sucks that the gs3 is designed different but non the less a beast off a phone.

    My Samsungs have always been set up as the s3. Both my Fascinate and Charge . But me being left handed still helps I believe.

    I set my home button to power on the device. Problem solved.

    The home button is a cool Idea except when u want to shut down.

    Lol nobody else hits volume keys while watching content in landscape? This bugs me.. but you learn different ways to adjust...yes it's a great device.. I also hate pentile..and the sorry text prediction on this device...but..yes I love it overall .
