What to do?

As I am chomping at the bit for a nexus phone, I will not be able to afford it. So, I currently have two options. I have a gracious benefactor that is willing to give me a Droid 2 (non global) or an X2. I am unsure as to which can be manipulated more. I am addicted to ROM flashing and overclocking. which one should I get? Any and all opinions are welcome. I have a OG Droid now and intend on keeping it but a newer phone would be nice. Thanks for the help on this one.

Pretty much the same options for each. About the same number of Roms for each. More or less will come down to whether you want the larger scree or a physical keyboard.
