    Current Phone Model:
    Droid Turbo
Are you a car person? You could always buy an OBD-II bluetooth dongle, get the Torque app, and then mount your Droid in your car somewhere. It could be a built-in car computer that gets real time info while driving. I do this now with my Droid, except my Droid is still my primary phone so I take it with me. Pretty cool stuff.

I set it up for my 6 year old son to Gtalk me while he's on wifi. That and play a bunch of games.

You can put Gingerbread on it without the fear of perma-bricking.....

OH I get what you are saying! At first, I thought you meant gingerbread on D1 caused permabrick, but then I remembered the issue with the Thunderbolt radio thingy... I still don't understand how that permabricks your Thunderbolt...

I didn't see anything about the TB permabrick on here, so I made a warning thread in the TB forum... I don't know how a radio causes permabrick either, I won't even venture to guess. Honestly, I'm glad all phones are getting encrypted bootloaders after reading the thread at XDA... 25% of their users are sticking with the faulty radio saying 'I have insurance' without even admitting that they are talking about fraud!!! That fraud costs us all money!!!!

Now on to the OP. Keep it as a backup, atleast for the 15 day return window. I returned my TB and used my Droid along with my iPhone.... Then my brothers Droid went swimming and guess what, his bro had another one for him!!
