What the heck! Help

    I can't get my phone to go into the recovery where it shows the backup and all that. I really want to flash a new rom but I candidates without that. Or create a nandroid backup...so confused

    Slide out the keyboard and while your phone is off, hold down the "X" key and press the Power button at the same time. Once you see the screen backlight come on, you can let go of both buttons. It will boot into recovery.

    If you are still rooted, download ROM manager from market (free version will suffice). And flash ClockworkMod recovery, then scroll to the bottom and flash Alternate recovery (SPRecovery), and repeat alternating flashing them a few times stopping on the one you wanted to use. Then try rebooting into recovery.
