Tired of the boring stock already and I love gestures and unlocked scrolling. What do I use, I have used go before ICS but I don't want bugs. Any tips?

Yep. I use NOVA. The free version seems to work fine for my needs, there is also a Prime version too. Oh, and you'll probably want the prime version since that includes the gestures. :)

Try to use apex, holographic, or ads. I've heard good stuff about them on ics

I've used just about all of them designed for ICS and think Apex is the best. There are two versions, one for stock and one for root. The only difference between them is the root version gives you more options for widgets.

I use Apex and I love it. Plus as jpcalhoun said, it has the root helper for rooted devices. It's a great launcher, and I have used several, but I settled on Apex. :)

I also use apex. I initially tried both Nova and Apex, but there was something I could not get to work in Nova (and I cannot remember what it was) so I stuck with Apex. I am actually trying Nova on my newly ICS updated Thrive tablet and so far, I like it as much as apex. And for the life of me, I still can't remember what it was that it wouldn't do on my razr but whatever it was, I am not having that problem on my tablet. For some reason I think it was because I couldn't get Nova to work with my simple text icons but that is working on my tablet just fine.

Apex and Nova are almost the same.... so little difference. Right now, there is one thing I want missing from Nova and one thing missing from Apex.

Nova does not have root support so not able to add widgets to my home screen from the app drawer. No big deal because out of habit, I tend to add widgets from long pressing on the home screen anyway.

What is missing from Apex and is a huge deal (go launcher spoiled me) is being able to create folders in the app drawer... which is possible with Nova's paid version.

When I'm done experimenting with Nova on my tablet and if no changes in either, I will probably purchase Nova because making folders in my app drawer is very important to me.

Tried Apex and Go Launcher EX , but finally settled on Nova. Fast, customizeable and supports the native ICS widget selector. Liked it so much I paid for Pro.

Go Launcher was sluggish and neither it nor Apex had a working widget selector - at the time anyway.

I may be old school but I prefer launcher pro. It is easier for me to manipulate.

    Thanks,

I switch between Apex and Launcher7. Launcher7's simplicity on top of Androids awesomeness is a win win lol.
