Swype | Text Input for Screens

Different way to input text.

Go into Language and Keyboards and ensure that the Swype keyboard is enabled.

Then go to any text input field and long-press, select "INput Method" and then select Swype, and the keyboard will change to the Swype keyboard.

Take the Swype tutorial and try the keyboard to see if you like it. I (and many) LOVE it, and will use no other keyboard. Others not so much.

Basically it allows you to drag your finger across the keyboard to type words...quite cool.

its actually very easy to use and most of the time it gets my words right. im glad the d2 came with swype

I just started using it now I'm gonna try to get used to it before I get too frustrated.

I was wondering what the swype fuss was about . . . this is actually pretty cool.

Only problem I have with Swype is the double letters. Droid 2 screen doesn't seem responsive enough to do it all the time. Oh well, isn't this why we got a Droid 2, the physical keyboard?
