What happened to auto-fit?

Zooming in on the original Motorola Droid used to nicely re-format text so it wasn't necessary to scroll left and right to read. Now, even though auto-fit is still an option in the default browser, it doesn't seem to do anything. Text does not re-format even with autofit checked. Is this a bug or am I missing something that I need to do? BTW, auto-fit does work properly on the Samsung Charge. Thanks.

Yes, but what if you want to use pinch and zoom to zoom in further than double tap?

With the updates... Now, pinch to zoom to get the text height you like then just double tap that spot and you get it to auto fill in that zoom setting, once I figured out the change... I like it :) how that helps.

Much appreciated. However (Motorola, are you listening?) it's much easier if it actually "auto" fits, such as the Samsung models do. That is, you just zoom in and it automatically reformats without a double tap. Oh well.
