What does the "Auto update of time and date" on starting mean?

Please see the attached screenshot of my mobile phone(Samsung Galaxy Note 3) while starting.
I just wonder that what the "Auto update of time and date" tip message means?

Thank you for any explanation about that in advance.

It means the phone's internal clock is automatically updated. No need to set time and date manually.

Auto update is a carrier function. I would think his carrier is pushing the message.
