Once I left ios behind I became grumpy (my wife calls me "the grouch on the couch" ) with a smile on my face. I went from an iPad to a Galaxy Tab after my experiment with ios
Once I got a Note8 I can't help but be giddy about my device, making it hard to be grumpy.

I'm used to IPS LCD. If you put the optimus GPro (ips) next to a GS4 (AMOLED) the Pro has a better screen. Much brighter.

The S4 has a better screen than the Z I think. The Z looked dull to me. I've never seen an IPS LCD screen 1080p of a modern phone as dull as the Sony Z. That's the first thing I noticed as soon as I turned it on. Then I held it and it was worse.

LOL, well....Perhaps my eyes just arent as good as they used to be.

I think all of the new phone screens really look great.

I go to TG Fone here in thailand and they sell them all so; I just put them next to each other and the difference in color and brightness are huge.

But at this point all the ppi arguments are a non issue. They all have high ppi.
