WhoA! brick? Thanks for the heads up bro. Is it safe to delete bootstrap or will i need it for future roms?

If you ever go back to a non 2nd init ROM like Liberty Froyo, Apex 1.4 or stock, then you will need to use it.

But on Liquid, CM7, SSX, MIUI, MOEmod, and any other 2nd init ROM, it will soft brick and you will have to sbf.

Yes. You use Clockwork to flash any ROM. Bootstrap is needed to access Clockwork Recovery on phones with a locked bootloader, such as the Motorola products. With 2nd init ROMs, bootstrap is basically built in.
