    A fresh install o liberty has an eclipse wallpaper. I just went from eclipse back to stock from backup, then to liberty. I'm pretty sure I wiped data, wiped cache, format /system, wiped dalvik every time.

    Your wallpaper is saved by Google (as are contacts & apps) and is restored when you log into your account.

    I guess I should clarify that those items are stored (backed up) by Google if you set your account up to allow it.
