It would be easier if you listed the apps you were interested in removing and we can tell you yes or no, all ROM's have different system/apps installed so it would be difficult without knowing exactly what is in your system

Do realize that fully removing stock apps has caused people problems in the past. It's better to just rename them from *.apk to *.bak.

    Just my .02 worth

Not on the Original Droid, you can basically remove whatever stock apps you want with no consequences

I am talking about the A855, I guess I was just thinking about WAY, WAY back around Jan or so when some people were having problems with the updates after removing stock apps. I can't link any of those threads, since they were posted at the old alldroid.org and now lost.

If your holster has a magnetic catch that is your problem... The car home screen is activated by a magnet. Use a case/holster with Velcro and you will not have the problem.

If your running Liquid 1.6, there are set of scripts on the first page of that roms release, that enable you to remove anything you've mentioned so far from the terminal.

apps2sdoff - all apps will be installed internally
apps2sdon - all apps will be installed to your sdcard
blockads - blocks ads from apps
bkdroid - backups all apps and data
godmode - permission to system so any file manager may access root
    reboot - reboots your phone
    recovery - reboots into recovery
    rmadwlauncher - removes adw launcher
rmbrowser - removes stock web browser
    rmcarhome - removes car home
rmchrometophone - removes chrome to phone
    rmdeskclock - removes desk clock
rmemail - removes stock email app
rmfacebook - removes Facebook from system/app
rmgeniewidget - removes genie widget (news and weather)
    rmlauncherpro - removes launcher pro
    rmlivewallpapers - removes live wallpapers
    rmmototorch - removes mototorch led
    rmpandora - removes pandora radio
    rmquickoffice - removes quick office
    rmspareparts - removes spare parts
    rmtitaniumbu - removes titanium backup
    rmtwitter - removes twitter
    rmwirelesstether - removes wireless tether
    rmyoutube - removes YouTube app
rstdroid - restores all apps and data
showads - shows ads from apps
soundoff - turns off camera shutter sound
soundon - restores camera shutter sound
sysrw - mounts system as read/write
sysro - mounts system as read/only

I dont see amazon in the list, but to remove that , its as simple as going into the /system/app folder, make the system rw, long press on amazonmp3.apk and delete. Just make sure you make the system ro again.
