Help...I have my bf's old samsung galaxy s3...he hinted that there are hidden apps to help him learn about texts/calls & such...not that I am doing anything wrong, but geez...where's the trust...anyway...I looked up how to unhide them but that option is gray, not white like the others on the menu...does that mean there arent any & was being a jerk or that I wont be able to find any without some kind of passwordor something? I am so technologically impaired it isnt funny...haha

Welcome to the forum getridofhim! Are you using the stock launcher or a third party launcher? If stock (Touchwiz), you should be able to go into the app drawer, click the menu key and "unhide apps". If a third party launcher, (Apex, Nova, etc) you'll need to go into launcher settings and unhide them that way. If you can't get into that option or it's greyed out, then there are currently no hidden apps. Good luck and let us know if there's anything else we can give you a hand with.
