Is it on a charger while this is happening... cheap chargers have done this to Motorola devices before... even after they are unplugged

It's worth a shot... might be the charger is bad... you should be using the charger that came with the bionic with a good power source...

No real problems... get that occasional app the will change some settings, but shame on me for not reading or doing my homework.
