Weird Gmail Behavior on Exit

When I open a Gmail message and read it, then hit the back button normally to exit, I'm coming back to the message. Normally, I'd exit to the inbox...then out of the application.

It's nothing terrible but it is annoying to have to hit the menu button, then click Inbox to get back.

Not sure if this is related - but I'm running Bugless 0.4 Froyo.

Thoughts?

I get the same thing... but it's inconsistent.

I end up hitting the menu button, then "Back to Inbox"... then I just hit Home.

I also set my Gmail icon to go straight to my Inbox label..... this way it doesn't open up a message.
