weird beeping sound at startup

My screen when crazy and started flashing and opening apps on its own. Now when I power up my Droid it makes a strange beeping sound that it didn't make before. Does anyone know what causes this. The phone seems to be a little slower now also.

Have you done anything to the phone? Rooted, flashed ROMs?

I dot know about the crazy flashing and apparently opening but my Droid makes a weird beeping sound upon startup as well... I am not rooted.

I haven't done anything to it that I know of. I am not very technologically inclined. Do I need to do what you mentioned? If so where can I find out how to do it?

At what point during startup? At the Motorola M? At the Droid Eye? Once you have the launcher and OS up?
