Weather App - Push Alerts?

Hiya,

So I am trying to find a weather app. I have tried several and seem to come across the same problem. Are there any weather apps that "push" severe weather alerts? All the ones I have tried only update alerts when the do a scheduled update, which could be 30 mins or more depending how you set it up, or open the app to refresh it.

Any suggestions appreciated..

Thanks for the info...I do get email alerts from the local news station. The problem with that is, they blend in with the rest of the email, and I don't check every time a new one comes in..Same with text messages.

Depends on where you live, my local station has an android app that you can get local weather pushed with severe alerts. I just went on their website and it said their app was in the market. dancedroid
