For example, texts are blue, texts from my wife are pink, emails are green, and tweetdeck is yellow...say you have all 4, which color light shows up? Regardless of what the answer is, you should be able to give those heirarchy to decide what is most important to YOU. That's the whole spirit of Android, right?

Ideally this would be in our settings menu, but since its not, is there an app that handles this?

Perhaps the better question is, is there a developer who wants to work on it?

I'm flattered that someone with 6800 posts thinks I have a pretty good idea for Android!

So since this isn't getting much play as id hoped here, does anyone know a good twitter account from google or anyone at all that it may be beneficial to forward this to, either on the goole team or a popular modding team? Or is anyone an xda member?

Doesn't the app "missed call" allow you to do this??

Blink does some of that.....missed calls, texts, emails. Don't think you can individualize contacts though.

I dont think you guys understand, hes not saying being able to choose led colors for different events, hes asking for a way to prioritize which notifications get shown. So if you have a text, an email and a missed call with all different colors, which one is actually going to blink? With what he is proposing, you can choose which notification gets which preference.

Great idea!

Maybe even have it flash all the colors in a sequence. So say you had a txt from your wife, a txt from another person, and an email, and it would flash pink..blue..green..pink..blue..green
