If you are paying for a warranty on your razr, and it's past the 1 year vzw warranty and it's rooted, and something fails in the phone can it be warranted be the ins?, i ask because i want to root my razr, and i pay for the ins

No of its over 1 year from date of purchase then you have to pay your deductible and go through assurian. Unless your paying for the 2 year extended warranty which would be Verizon.

Does assurian care if the phone is rooted for a warranty? That's what i need to now before root.

From my experience, as long as you pay your deductible they don't care.
