Want to know: how long it takes to finish compiling an AOSP ROM

    Please share your info on the amount of time it took to complete an AOSP ROM compilation (less kernel make). If you can provide a brief hardware configuration, that would be even better!

    Mine is about 270 minutes on a P4-2.4G/1.5GRAM for froyo/sholes, extra 45 minutes for the kernel.

    Mine's a little over an hour on a Core 2 Duo, 2.66 GHz, in a VMWare machine given access to 2 cores and 2 GB of memory

    depends on computer as per above posts

    Sourcery takes approx 20 minutes to compile from a make clobber
    on a i7-950 6gb ram (not overclocked) unsing make -j8
