Is there a way to change the wallpaper for dock mode? (I don't know if this makes a difference, but I don't actually have a dock, I just use dockrunner)

I've been wondering the same thing. I'd like an app that allows you to customize the docking screen. I tried looking for one a couple of weeks ago, but didn't find anything.

For what it is worth, I have read that Dock Mode in 2.1 will utilize the wallpaper that you have set for your home screens. Granted it does not allow you to set an entirely separate wallpaper for Dock Mode, but it will at least look better than what is currently used.

As an aside, I am sure that whatever changes were made in 2.1 to allow for Dock Mode to use the home screen wallpaper will be exploited to allow some further functionality and customization.

^^^ This is correct, I've rooted my phone and am running the 2.1 Dock, and it is using my wallpaper as the background. Customization is currently not available with the exception of the wallpaper you have.

it is changable. you have to change it using Metamorph. its not ez to do b/c the clock frame is part of the background. so basicly you have to add a differnt background while keeping the clock frame intact.

theres 2 ways you can go about this, one is making your own MM zip theme with a dock img. or download a theme from someone else that has a dock img then just make the changes your self and push it through. the Ice theme has a dock file in it to make changes.
