Can you gnex users in the Detroit, MI area post screen shots of your signal info as well as your general location? I am going to try to buy a working nexus this time, and would like to have some info to compare with. Thanks

Good luck getting people to post their location:D

Judging by your choice of words I'm guessing you went through a Nexus already? How long ago was that?

Bought one about 2 months ago, wouldn't hold a signal- data/voice or wifi.

Well alot has changed since 2 months ago. The Gnex has since received JellyBean along with updated radios that are much better than the former radios, night and day difference.

Now if you live in a weak 4g area spot, then that won't change of course.

Well, the third time is a charm! I now own a perfectly functioning nexus! So far I love this phone, I only wish I could have been enjoying a working nexus sooner. I figure I will ride out the last few months of my contract with this phone...maybe something good well come to vzw during that time? I'm still hopeful that a nexus 4 may show up, if not I may switch carriers if AT&T or T-Mobile get good lte coverage.

Just to let you know, the Nexus 4 does not have an LTE radio in it, so even on those networks you still wouldn't be getting LTE. And I wouldn't get your hopes up for the Nexus 4 coming to Verizon, they botched the SGN pretty bad and Google is right to leave the big red out of it.
