I can't get the volume turned up. It is set as high as possible in the settings but the actual volume is very low and I cannot hear it when it rings?

I had this problem with some 3rd party app I was using to control notification sounds and their volume. A quick power-down/power-up should fix it, and if not, yank out the batter and restart it.

I believe there is even CTRL-SHIFT-DEL functionality built into the physical keyboard.

I've had this issue recently also. A hardware reset worked, but it was annoying as heck.

Does the sound come from the ear speaker? I had this problem the other day and it really is quiet. I did a reboot and it fixed my problem and work ever since.

+1 same here. Happened only one time, but a quite reboot solved it.
