New the forum and only had the Droid Eris for a month or so. Anyone know of an app that will help control the Media Volume instead of adjusting while using an app or music? Thanks in advance!

Not sure, wondered that myself as well. But I do believe there is a sound mixer to control different volumes in android 2.x so just wait it out I guess.

We'll have to cross our fingers for now. Always a bummer when you have to hit the volume down a bunch after using the music and want to play a game or something and not get noticed. Would be nice for a short cut.

I've tried them both. I prefer the AudioManager UI, so that's the one that is still on my phone. Both of them seem to do what they are supposed to do.

Downloaded the Volume Control. Seems to be exactly what I was wanting. Thanks again for the help!

Try downloading cVolume from the market. It has some helpful widgets along with detailed volume controls.
