Voice Search update

    you are going to have to go into Root Explorer and uninstall the system/app VoiceSearch.apk - reboot and then install from the Market

    I just installed the update. No problem.

    If your market is hanging up then you may need to clear market data market cache.

    I used Titanium backup to uninstall the voice search and youtube apps and then they installed easily.

    Just updated my stock D1 and rooted D2. No issues.

    No issues here, other than forgetting to first remove the YouTube and VoiceSearch apps which was eating up memory.

    Mine updated without issues, all on it's own (auto-downloaded). Gmail also updated at the same time. I didn't have to remove them first or anything.

    You might want to go back and remove them though... If they auto-update, then most likely you have 2 apk's installed for each app. One in the system partition and another in the data partition, hence you're definitely wasting some storage space.

    The system partition holds the old apk's, data partition has the updated apk's.
