Voice input activates when receiving texts!?!

Hello, running the stock 4.1.2 98.72.16 ICS on an original razr. Something happened a couple of weeks ago where my phone started doing some goofy things. First it started to lag really bad so did a couple of the soft starts ( hold power and volume down) and that would fix it for a day. Then it started to get dual notification sounds whenever I would receive a text. Now the voice input activates itself whenever I get a text. It does this in addition to the normal activation tone. Now to make things more interesting I have the same tone for both texts and email and this glitch only happens when I get texts, not with emails. WTH? Anyone else having issues with their razr or have ideas to fix it?

Well I gave up and did another factory reset (3rd in the last 6months or so) and it seems to be acting normal so far. Hopefully the 3rd reset is the charm?

Same thing happened to me a while back. Tried all the suggestions but ultimately, the only thing that fixed it permanently was a FDR.
