Voice clarity issues

When I am on a call I have been told numerous times that the person I am talking to cant make out what i am saying and that the microphone is muffled...

Is there any fixes for this? I called verizon and they want to do a factory reset which i really dont want to do....

I had similar problems. I tried changing the voice codec, privacy issues, and even removed my silicone case from Verizon. All of them helped a little bit. There's a one year warranty so just take the phone back if you're having that many problems with it. I did and it has been a lot better since.

for the first time over the weekend, someone complained about my clarity. i put the phone's mic closer to my mouth (as opposed to pointing below my chin) and the issue seemed to resolve itself.
