VLC or Avi Player for Droid?

Has there been any developments if any on the Droid playing AVI files like a VLC widget? So cumbersome to convert everything to mp4.

Nope, Droid does not due AVI files and it would be nice if it did.

Play all Video Formats for Motorola Droid

Guys...I have a solution For this !!!
I have uploaded a Video Player Software on my Server...

are we sure about that? rockplayer plays avi files...i use it all the time

Doubletwist converts AVI files to MP4 and will play them.
