Viewing .jpg and .asf in email

Hi, Hardcore BB user just switching to Droid.

I get emails sent to me with .jpg and .asf files from my home security camera systems.
This process worked fine with my Palm Treo and all BB's, last one is a storm.

But i am not able to open either one in the Droid.

Can anyone offer assistance or suggestions?
