View Web Browser on TV

I looked around and havent found any questions on this...

Is there any way of hooking the droid x to the tv by hdmi and view your web browser on the tv screen?

My home videos are uploaded to vimeo and it would be nice to use the droid x as the internet source to stream and the tv screen to view...

...or sometimes my daughter wants to watch obscure cartoons that stream on the net and takes up the computer while doing so...so if i could again use the phone to stream the video and the tv screen to view...

any way to make that happen?

Yes

Try the app Real HDMI. I have had great success with it. I suggest using it in the HDMI cradle so you get landscape mode. Once you do connect you will not have a picture on the screen for the DroidX. I understand its chipset and not the fault of the app. Good luck.
