Greg aka Android Code Monkey has released a video indexing app that gives you 1 click access to all the videos stored on your phone!

Videos Android App (Android Code Monkey)

It shows name, duration and time remaining if only partially played.

Future versions will include sorting by name, date or size, name editing, etc.

In addition, his blog has a series of how-to articles regarding the setup of the Android Development environment and some application tutorials.

Thanks that is very useful as i like showing off my home videos, 2 clicks faster than going thru the gallery and scrolling for them.

I have been using this for a couple of weeks. It is much easier to use than going through the Droid's 'Gallery" app.

I started using it because when my 2-year old grandson wanted to watch a video, he did not have the patience to wait while I hunted for the video through Gallery.

He sees the video he wants to play and he selects it.

He really wants his own Droid!

That's awesome feedback! Not just because it's positive. Negative feedback can be awesome too. It's awesome because it validates the very reason my buddy built the app.

    Thanks,

The two things i notice is the scrolling is very slow and choppy when going through the video list.

also on the incredible the app doesnt find the videos on the internal memory just on the SD card only.

    but its still awesome!

All of your comments make it directly back to the developer so this will all go into the bucket for investigation.

    Awesome feedback.
