:heart:I bought the Shapewriter software and think it is just great!!!!

Try out Swype if you feel spicy. I'd like a comparison of the two .... Plus Swype is pretty nice.

Swype Keyboard for Android DroidMuff.in
The download page is here... you need to make sure to allow unknown sources to install. Menu > settings > applications > check 'unknown sources'.

The download for Swype is a zip file. You need to extract it then click on the apk file to install it.

The response of ShapeWriter led me to uninstall about an hour in to trying it. I had been waiting for Swype to be released for Android... apparently Christmas keeps coming :icon_ banana:

edit: 9.21mb for Swype... is it just me or does this seem excessively large?

the reason I installed was because of that. I wouldn't use it as my default and it takes up a lot memory

It is still in beta.... have to see if the app gets streamlined when it officially releases.

Is that the zip file or the extracted apk file? Just downloaded on my DROID and the zip file was 4.03mb and the extracted apk file was 4.35mb. Once installed, Application info states Storage size as 5.04mb.

^really? Maybe I'll uninstall and try again. Mine says 9mb on device... but the zip is 4.6mb? what the....
