Video naming convention, Droid X

I don't like the default "VID_2011520_184616" I can't figure out what the last 6 numbers mean. I'm sure it's obvious and I am just missing it.

More importantly, I can't seem to find a way to change the name once saved, or better yet, does anyone know a way to change the default convention?

Side note: What are considered to the best movie taking and playback apps?

Use a file manager such as Astro.

I doubt there's a way to change the default naming convention unless it's in the settings for your camera app. The last bit is probably a timestamp or something similar just to differentiate videos shot on the same date.
