vevo problems on laptop w/wifi from dx

I'm sure this topic has came up before. My search didn't yield results. I'm using my rooted Droid X as my internet source. Vevo videos don't load on my computer, the internet connection is lost each time. I don't have these kind of issues with non vevo videos. Is there a solution? I also noticed vevo usually has advertisements, why is vevo so lame? Any comments or suggestions will be appreciated.

In my experience, as soon as you see a video with VEVO anywhere near it, just find a different link to the same content that doesn't use VEVO. They are horrible (IMHO).
