We have great news for Verizon owners of the Samsung Galaxy S4. Verizon will finally release Android 4.4.2 KitKat for your device on May 2nd. According to an internal document from Verizon, they plan on pushing the update OTA starting on that date. Of course, it will be sent out in waves, so your device may not get it exactly on that date.

As usual, Verizon is late to the party. AT&T and Sprint had their rollout over two months ago. Sound off if your are looking forward to trying out KitKat on your Verizon Galaxy S4!

I just got KitKat on my LG G Pad 8.3 and it is much smoother, and Chrome browser is also faster " Kit Kat is an improvement over JB, not a substantial one, but it does speed up everything" I just don't like some of the new security features Google has implemented into the OS, like not being able to load app data to the external micro SD card, like MapFactor, now in regards to my S4, I will hold off on the update until FoxFi has their app working with the new OS.
